Krocks Help: |

To get started click this link, or the one above on the left, and carefully follow the easy instructions  |
Then just install the program and wait until help arrives (may be a little wait!) but worth it |
You will if using a router need to forward ports 7050 - 7100 to your local ip, this website shows you how http://portforward.com/ |

We can also remotely set your router for you if you wish with your permission |
After entering the Krocks main channel please wait for an op to check that you have set up correctly, ops are in different time zones so you may have to wait until an op becomes available |
Remember that Please and Thankyou goes a long way! |

FAQ |
How do I unpack the zip file ? |
You will need either Winzip or Winrar to extract these files, Google it! |
How do I register ? |
You will be registered by an op after joining us and and your setup is working ok |
Where do I start ? |
Read the rules first, then this page, then download the script and install, now run the Krocks program |
What is passive DCC ? |
Passive will not let you share with anyone else if they are also on passive (not recommended) |
Can I use Powerget ? |
We cant support this but yes, if set up correctly (LIST GRABBERS MUST BE TURNED OFF) Dont add more than three nicks at once as once the program starts to run you will flood the channel and lose your voice by spanky! (IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR'E DOING, DONT EVEN TRY IT!) |
Mirc Expired ? |
If Mirc needs re-registering then in any channel type:- /run mirc.reg and push enter, select ok when asked to update the registry. If Mirc has expired and wont let you even run the program then browse to the Krocks folder on your computer and locate the mirc.reg icon, now just double click it and allow the registry to update, You will now be able to run Krocks :) |

Setting SB Client for searches: |
To be able to use the @search command in the channels you must enable the SB Client in Krocks/Preferences/OmeNServE tab |
Just follow the instructions below:- |

| It would also pay you to check the Auto Update box so your lists are automatically updated (another common reason for a user losing their voice) set to 15 days or less would be good! |

Now just click Close, thats it! |
You can now use the search command in the channels |
It always pays to look out for notices posted in the channel for changes with the search bots |
If one bot goes offline you may be advised to use another search command i.e @search2 |
Your search list will appear after a brief spell in the left side pane as a flashing button, just click to view your finds and copy and paste into the relevant channel |
Dont forget to read the rules about posting to many requests at once in the channel, not abiding to those rules could lose you your +voice resulting in you being unable to download anything further until an OP reinstates your voice (Embarrasing)! |
